Chris Perez

Chris Perez played for the University of New Mexico where he received NCAA All-Academic team for MWC and set the school record for number of wins as a walk on. Chris decided to make New Mexico his home post college where he worked as a personal trainer and a mentor at college basketball camps. He became a physical education teacher for Volcano vista in 2015, Athletic director for Legacy Academy in 2016, Head coach for boys and girls club 2016-2022, Secondary Education teacher for Legacy Academy 2016-2022 and basketball coach/strength and conditioning coach for Northern NM college from 2022-2023. Chris now works at ABC as a strenth and conditioning coach, academic advisor and post grad assistant.
